GFP WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
Congrats to Suzanne Monroe of Pangur Bán Center for Well-being. She was awarded the woman-owned business scholarship on November 3rd, made possible by our silent auction bidders and donors from the “Helping Handbags” Designer Purse Online Silent Auction. This scholarship will encourage the growth of Suzanne’s business.
“My wellness center is meant to help people at any stage of life incorporate practices into their lives that will bring more peace and total well-being in sustainable ways. In the hustle culture, diet culture, and age of misinformation that we live in, it can be so difficult to navigate. Just to find the information that will steer you in the right direction is incredibly difficult and exhausting. I have gone through many trials and tribulations myself, determined to find the answers. In my various training and research, I have found science-backed strategies to help people achieve more peace, well-being, and healthful living. My business is made to transform lives and help people thrive by giving them the tools to get them there. Having this scholarship will give me the jumpstart to get my business going. I have been training for various certifications while building my business on the side, so receiving this money will help me to launch my website and fine tune my programs so that I can finally launch my business!”
We also had our mini pop-up with The Little Yarnery and our silent auction winning bid item local pickup, all at Paige’s Bakehouse in Round Rock that evening. Thank you to everyone that stopped by!
Please join Girl Flock Party in congratulating Suzanne on her achievement!
