PARTY TIME, EXCELLENT

This past Saturday was the big day… the 2021 Girl Flock Pool Party! We had a small turnout, again to keep things safer with COVID, but it was still a great shindig. Friends, colleagues, and sponsors were invited to the private event. My mission with this is to celebrate friendship, creativity, & networking. I also showcase local, small, and woman-owned businesses.

The theme was Palm Springs, CA where we dressed in caftans, kimonos, big bright earrings, sun hats, and more! Flamingo and unicorn floats adorned the pool as well as pink beach balls with gold glitter inside. There was a photo wall, a tropical decorated table with snacks and dessert, plus a prize table with a “Thank You Sponsors” sign and fabulous donated prizes and swag bags. Other flamingo-esque and Palm Springs decor were sprinkled throughout the yard. Speaking of the pool and yard, it was a Swimply pool rental and the host was Theresa of Always Sunny in Austin. It had a gorgeous pool with hot tub, a screened-in porch, powder room, yard games, turfed lawn, lounge chairs, and more! Visit Greater Palm Springs provided everyone magazines and guides on the Palm Springs area, plus Joshua Tree National Park maps. And to document all of this, we had photographer Arielle Nalei of Photos by Ari.

Thank you to our sponsors that donated swag and giveaway prizes. And congratulations to all of the winners. We had the best sponsors for the 3rd Annual Girl Flock Party. Please follow these wonderful businesses and shop online or visit their brick-n-mortar shops:

Kendra Scott: necklace & bracelet
LUXE Brow + Lash: lash lift & tint
The Boise Babes: stickers
Bespoke Bride: decals for a set of 4 highball glasses
Amanda Hoxworth of Spatterful Chaos: signed art print
Dixie Treats: dog treats
House of Strout: magnets, water canteen, & tote bag
K. Johnson Jewelry: earrings
Three Girls Shop: hair ties

Thank you to everyone that attended and to those couldn’t make it, you were missed. I hope next year, we will be in a better place with the pandemic. The goal is to invite the public, have a bigger venue, donors, and registration, plus support a local charity. For now, my next step is to design a logo for Girl Flock Party. Until then, stay tuned and keep an eye on the website for upcoming events and news.

Enjoy the photos!
